Information about the oocyte was previously stored in the treatment record where the oocyte was produced.

When the oocyte was used in another treatment, such as a donated oocyte or as a cryo preserved oocyte from the treated woman herself, the necessary information about the oocyte was not available. More information about the oocyte is stored at the oocyte/embryo record itself.

If set up in the configuration order, the source of the oocyte and the previous state of the oocyte can be displayed in the assessment day 0 and after in the treatment, Embryo work screen.

If the oocyte has a limited cryo storage time, the date limit can be set. The date can be calculated with the rules specified by the clinic or by national rules. If the storage limit date is different for donated oocytes, this can be set by a clinic- or national specific calculation when the oocytes is transfered to the donor record.

To display the information of the source of the oocyte, select OocyteSource in the Configuration Order.
The source of the oocyte will be always displayed as either "D" for "Donated" or "W" for "Treated woman´s own" oocytes.

Oocyte source information from a regular patient.

To display the information of the source of the oocyte, select Oocyte_WomanAgeAtOPU in the Configuration Order.

When an OPU is performed, the age of the treated woman at the date of the OPU is stored at the oocyte/embryo record in the field Oocyte_WomanAgeAtOPU.
As this information is stored in the oocyte/embryo record, you can use it for later evaluation.
The date of the OPU when the oocyte/embryo record is created, is stored in the field Oocyte_Retrieve_Date.
